This July, the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce held their monthly networking event at our new Heritage Toyota Parts and Service Building. The event was a great success, attracting over 150 Chamber members. Heritage Toyota provided catering, door prizes, entertainment, H-Team members, and of course – Rusty Dewees.
We’d like to thank the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce for letting Heritage Toyota host the networking event, and hope all who attended had a great time!.
This is our newest Heritage Ford commercial. It features Rusty Dewees and one of the Dinky Loggers!
Again, our apologies with our blogging absence as of late; we’ve been very busy perfecting our new websites as well as working on some new marketing. We have uploaded 4 new commercials in the past two weeks, and we’d like to thank Mt. Mansfield Media for their work!!
First, we have “Rusty Stuck in the Mud” featuring everyone’s favorite logger, Rusty Dewees and his cat, Scarlet. Watch Rusty test the towing limits of a Ford F-150 in the spot here:
Keeping with our Rusty Dewees theme, we’ve released a new Dinky Loggers commercial for Heritage Ford. See two employees, Steve Lehr and Steve Connors of our Heritage Ford store make their commercial debut here:
The H-Team members everyone knows and loves, Andrew, Toby, and Charlie are back in this newest Heritage Toyota Scion commercial, “VooDoo Certified.” See what happens when someone seeks guidance in purchasing a Toyota Certified vehicle here:
I hope you’ve enjoyed watching our commercials, they’ll always be uploaded to our YouTube here.
First, we would like to send out a big “Thank-You” to everyone who came out this past Saturday to the Williston Central School and took part in Ford’s Drive One 4UR School Fundraiser. You helped us raise $2480! We had over 120 different families stop by for a test drive, while the event was staffed by 20+ volunteers from Williston F.A.P and 10+ employees from Heritage Ford.
We had quite a steady stream of drivers from 8am right up until 4pm when we began to break down the event, allowing us to fit in 124 test drives. Around 10am, Rusty Dewees stopped by and stood out by the road, rounding up more people to test drive a Ford. To see more photos, we have posted an album of from the event on our Facebook, here.
This truly was a great community event and we couldn’t be happier with the results. With $2480 raised, the Williston F.A.P can purchase materials that the budget doesn’t allow. Again, thank you to all of our customers and community members who came out and test drove a car for this event, we couldn’t have done it without you!
South Burlington Veterans Memorial Documentary
Friday evening, the H-Team and Rusty Dewees welcomed about 50 local community members to the Majestic 10 Theater for a special public preview of the SB Remembers Documentary. The documentary highlights the planning and construction of the new South Burlington Veterans Memorial to be erected at Dorset Park. The documentary was locally promoted on Sunday through a Super Bowl commercial, seen below.
The event was a resounding success, with Rusty Dewees and the H-Team’s own Toby Tyler chipping in to help raise $1,000 in a silent auction. The weekend also saw the official launch of the newly developed SBRemembers.org, where visitors can learn about the memorial and see artist’s renderings of the proposed final product. Since its launch on Sunday, the site has already generated $500 in donations to the memorial project.
The H-Team Antifreezers take to the lake for a good cause
The Veterans memorial wasn’t the only worthy cause to have received special attention from the H-Team this past weekend. A group of courageous H-Team members braved the frigid waters of Lake Champlain on Saturday morning as part of the annual Penguin Plunge, helping to raise money for the Special Olympics Vermont. The Antifreezers were among the first to race into (and out of) the lake, donating over $1,800 to the charity, which raised over $300,000 for the Special Olympics of Vermont.
